Finding Books

To find books in religion or theology, search the following catalogs beginning at the top and working your way down the list. When searching by subject in the Catalogs, you may achieve better results if you consult the Library of Congress Subject Headings (large red volumes near the Reference Desk). When searching for a scripture passage, select a subject search and then enter the book of the Bible you want in this format: "Bible O T Nehemiah" or "Bible N T Corinthians 1st".

Find electronic books in the eBook Collection. These books can be read online or downloaded, and the full text can be searched. You can search by keyword, author, or title and Boolean operators to refine your search. Titles in this collection can also be located by searching the GU Library Catalog.
