Finding Books

To find books in the sciences, search the following catalogs beginning with the GU Library Catalog at the top of the list. When searching by subject in the Catalogs, try searching by keyword and then scan the "topics" or subject headings for those that best fit your topic. If your subject search doesn't retrieve what you want, you should contact a GU Public Services Librarian either by visiting the Library Reference Desk or by using our email or chat reference services available through this guide or the Library website.

Use this catalog to find books and other materials in the GU Library. If you don't find what you want in the GU Library Catalog, you can click on the "I-Share Catalog" button in this catalog or use the link below to go directly to I-Share.

Use this catalog to find books and other materials in more than seventy I-Share member libraries across the state of Illinois. With your valid Greenville University ID number, you can set up your own account to request books from these libraries and have them delivered to the GU Library.

Use this catalog to find books only if you haven't found what you need in the Greenville University Library Catalog or the I-Share Catalog. Once you locate a book you would like to borrow, click on "ILL" to submit an interlibrary loan request.
